ABOUT THE ARTIST(S):  “Robert has always been a very dedicated musician, spending countless hours honing his craft & developing his musical style.” Dennis "Doc" Williams, President of Dr. Tunes Music.

Robert Barone President & Founder of Bar-One & Co-Founder of Collection of Brothers Music Inc., has been a writer, producer, professional Bassist & musician for over thirty years! Born & raised in Newark New Jersey, Barone has performed on CD's, film scores, ad media, & of course live! He has shared the stage with the likes of Sun Ra, Spirit of Life Ensemble, Ornett Coleman, Aaron Bell, Ernie Edwards, Jimmy Ponder & Bill Saxton. His discography also includes his compositions “God’s by Design” (Harlem Boys Choir 2004), “In the Middle of Nowhere” (Jackie Jones 1998).

Darryl Smith A Newark NJ Native, started playing guitar at age 3! He has over twenty years of experience as a composer, studio musician & arranger. He’s performed up & down the east coast with the likes of Michael Bolton,  Seiji Ozawa,  Regina Bell,  Stone City Band (backup band for Rick James), Pieces Of A Dream, Anwar Robinson (American Idol), Phil Fields (of Mtume) He &  Robert Barone began performing together in the Spirit Of Life Band.

Bar-One is Global with previous performances in Europe & all over North America: New York City’s Town Hall, The Blue Note, The Bottom Line, Underground Railroad of Burlington County, CBGB's, S.O.B's as well as New Jersey Performing Arts Center. Bar-One’s music provides a combination of melodic bass playing & mellow vocals, with a rhythmic undercurrent that bears testament to vas experience & with performances often punctuated throughout with elements of reggae, hip-hop, punk, jazz, pop & R&B. Robert has composed & played every genre of urban music: Jazz to Hip-Hop, Reggae to Gospel & loved it all! Barone's music vision & philosophy can best be described as “Urban Eclectic” - music for very mood.
